Our Girls Who Code Club is a free program for 6th-12th grade girls and non-binary students that provides a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world.

Meetings will consist of 3 different types of activities:

  • Learn to Code Activities: Coders will work in text-based languages (primarily Python), and across many different themes, from games to apps to storytelling.
  • Sisterhood Activities: whole-group activities that are designed to help Club members get to know each other, celebrate successes and strengths, reflect on progress, and solve problems together.
  • Tech Spotlights: students will explore bravery, resilience, creativity and purpose through real life examples of computer scientists.

Participants should bring a laptop or Chromebook.
