As part of our month-long celebration of J.R.R. Tolkien, join us at the library for a special screening of The Hobbit (rated PG). The film is approximately 75 minutes long.

Released in 1977, this television special was the first film adaptation of Tolkien's work. It was produced by Rankin/Bass Productions, the same company that created such Christmas classics as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
