All about Bonsai, with Bonsai West

Saturday, March 2111:00 AM—1:30 PMProgram roomBolton Public Library738 Main St, Bolton, MA, 01740

If you've driven down Great Road in Littleton/Acton, you've probably seen Bonsai West, "New England's Oldest and Most Beautiful Bonsai Nursery." This is your chance to learn about the intricacies of Bonsai: the variety of indoor and outdoor trees, potting, trimming, history and culture.

You will leave this class with knowledge of an ancient art form as well as a tree of your very own!  Please dress with a mess in mind; you will be potting your tree.

Want to see if this class and living with a bonsai is for you? Take a look here: https://bonsaiwest.com/resources/bonsai-primer/

Free of charge and open to all ages 18+.

Please note these policies for our creative classes:

  • For the first 48 hours, registration is open to Bolton residents only. After that, registration is open to everyone regardless of residence. If you are a nonresident, please go ahead and sign up; your registration will be reviewed after 48 hours and you'll be added to the class provided there are seats left. Nonresident registrations will be taken in the order received.
  • For classes with paid, expert instructors, anyone who signs up then neither shows up nor notifies the library of cancellation at least 48 hours in advance will be blocked from signing up for future classes for a period of no less than 6 months. We've had to take this step in order to curtail the amount of "ghosting" that has occurred with our classes, and to make spaces available to those who are waitlisted. Please do *not* send someone in your place; there are likely people on our waitlist who would like to attend if you cannot.
Free of charge.

Registration for this event is full.
